The Medical Center of the Americas Foundation spotlights VeMiDoc for being on the frontlines of COVID-19.
VeMiDoc is a local company working on solutions with local doctors, healthcare groups and systems to deliver healthcare in the context of constant change. They are at the forefront of the local COVID-19 response by working closely with El Paso Health Insurance and area physicians to connect patients and physicians virtually, without hassle, wait-time, or risk of infection. Within 10 days, VeMiDoc has connected 1,200 video calls and was responsible for an exchange of over 1,000 emails between VeMiDoc, physicians, and patients. VeMiDoc is working closely with area doctors; helping them see their patients virtually through the VeMiDoc app/software and adjust their workflows.
